AN OVERVIEW OF THE PROJECT
Modelcart entertainment (www.modelcart.com) is a public access general purpose entertainment portfolio hosting websites, events, magazines, concerts, runway search, and communities for models, actors, photographers, presenters, musicians and agencies; both on amateur and professional levels.
            We were borne with the mandate of playing supportive, agency-oriented and advertisement sensitive to the general populace, especially those under the framework of organised bodies through the instrumentality of its highly standardized department which includes website operation, concert, magazine, media, advertisement, design, agencies/scouting and fashion/costume sections.

What is Modelcart.com / How it all begun?

In late 2009, the founders of Modelcart noticed there was a need for this industry to select quality members online, as opposed to taking anyone from anywhere, without considering the quality of their application. Therefore, as people started showing more interest for this concept, we decided to offer the online community a website which would strive for quality as opposed to vast quantities. We strongly believe that success should be based on a service which provides its members with a well selected and managed community, where each was admitted for its qualities and talents.

Who we are? and how we evaluate applications?

We are a variety of individuals, from different backgrounds, who overlook at the applications of each, on a daily basis & taking decisions based on the feel of the material received, along with its potential. Most us who review the applications are either: designers, moviestars, music stars, supermodels, photographers or photography studio owners. But we do like to occasionally use people from outside the industry, to get an idea and perspective on what "Regular" people think of each applicant. Unfornately, there is no such thing as the "golden rule". By the way, if you are declined admission, it doesn't mean your bad or you had a bad hair day. Its just indicates, that based on the material received and the people who reviewed it, we didn't think that you gave your best effort, or you were not ready to be part of our community. But each person is welcome to reapply whenever they feel better prepared. Each person is different. Along with the differences which each has, comes a different set of attributes, features, interests, goals, achievements, passions and so forth. Regardless of the outcome, feel free to apply for admission, and when it works out, then you'll be glad you did join. Otherwise, try again later. We don't enforce any quota system. One month we might admit 90% of applicants, while another might be only 25%. It really depends on what we receive and the feedback which reviewers give for each application.
